About me!

Hello! My name is Katy Shafer (she/her). I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and my love for theatre started in third grade when I was citizen #1 in David and Goliath.

I am now an NYU Tisch Drama graduate, where I studied musical theatre (New Studio on Broadway) and Shakespeare  (Classical Studio). I also have a minor in Math.

 

When I am not performing, I tutor high school students in math and brag/complain about how I ran the NYC marathon! I just finished up a staged reading of The New Year Play, written by Max Rosenblum.
